22 Salute Teams Up With Navy Vet Turned Billboard Chart-Topper B. Taylor
Partnership Brings Together Award-Winning Musician's L1fe Organization With Veteran-Dependent & Minority Owned Coffee Company's Suicide Prevention Efforts.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – 22 Salute, a veteran-dependent & minority owned coffee and spirits company, is announcing its coffee department partnership with Navy veteran, multi-platinum award-winning producer, B. Taylor. He is recognized at the highest levels as a “Goodwill Global Ambassador of Entertainment" for the U.S. Military, veterans, first responders and their families. This strategic alliance combines 22 Salute's mission-driven approach to veteran mental health support with B. Taylor's decades-long commitment to serving military families through his L1FE Organization.
22 Salute is a social enterprise selling veteran-made Spirits and high-altitude specialty coffee focused on giving back to the Veteran & first responder communities by donating a portion of their profits to The Veterans Connection, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit focused on veteran & first responder mental health & suicide prevention. The company's name reflects the sobering statistic that an average of 22 United States Veterans are lost to suicide every day, making their partnership with B. Taylor's veteran advocacy work a natural alignment of shared values.
"I'm honored to partner with 22 Salute, a company that truly understands the challenges our veterans face," said B. Taylor. "Their commitment to mental health support and suicide prevention aligns perfectly with the work we've been doing through L1FE Organization. Together, we can reach more veterans and first responders who need to know they're not alone."
B. Taylor's impact goes far beyond his work in music. The founder of L1FE Organization (pronounced One-Life), his career is dedicated to giving back to the community that propelled his life forward. Over the past 10 years, Taylor has launched over 20 initiatives through L1FE to provide resources and opportunities to military families, including mental health awareness campaigns, educational scholarships for veterans' children, housing assistance programs, and employment transition support services.
The partnership comes at a crucial time when untreated mental health conditions such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), depression, and anxiety are a significant disabler for the Veteran and first responder population. 22 Salute's unique approach involves collaborating with American-made, Veteran-owned suppliers and prioritizing the employment of Veterans, ensuring that each purchase directly supports those who have served.
"With a background in coffee and a passion for supporting veterans, joining the board of 22 Salute felt like coming full circle. I saw in their mission the same values that drove my work as Vice President at Black Rifle Coffee Company, and I was honored to step in and help scale a brand making a real difference," said Tanner Doss, board member of 22 Salute.
22 Salute Spirits & Coffee™ is a 100% military veteran dependent and minority owned, purpose-driven social enterprise with a Veterans first initiative, offering High altitude specialty coffees, including South Texas Mesquite Smoked Coffee custom roasted by a United States Navy veteran, as well as veteran-made spirits handcrafted by a veteran and woman-owned distillery in Maryland. The company was recently recognized as Top Minority and Women Owned Brand by Food & Beverage Magazine, adding to their growing list of accolades that includes their 22 Salute vodka, bourbon, and coffee have each won Double Gold Awards for both taste in blind judging and design and packaging.
B. Taylor brings significant credibility to the partnership as a decorated Navy veteran and multi-award-winning artist who has garnered six number-one hit records and two Top 10 hit records on the Billboard and iTunes charts. His upcoming release, "We Are One" (Country Pop Version), scheduled for July 4th, 2025, serves as a powerful anthem of unity and hope, celebrating America's mothers, liberties, democracy, and resilience.
The collaboration will focus on expanding outreach to active duty military, veterans, and first responders nationwide, combining B. Taylor's platform and influence with 22 Salute's established distribution network that has grown to over 500 locations nationwide. Proceeds from every purchase of a 22 Salute™ product help save a life, making this partnership a powerful force for positive change in the veteran community.
The partnership officially launches this month, with joint initiatives planned throughout 2025 to raise awareness about veteran mental health, support suicide prevention efforts, and provide resources to military families nationwide. “With B. Taylor by our side, we’re expanding the reach and resonance of our mission. His commitment to honoring service mirrors our own, and together, we’re opening more doors for healing and hope,” says Eric Ranks, CEO of 22 Salute.
